I co-founded Eagle Transportation and served as the company's President. We established Eagle Transportation in November of 2004. For over 15 years, we handled the shipping needs for many customers both large and small. We built our reputation in the logistics industry by our steadfast commitment to customer service founded on integrity. Our reputation speaks for itself. With the help of our loyal and dedicated carriers, we were able to facilitate nearly 50,000 shipments a year. Our dedication went far beyond how we treated our customers and carriers as we also held to a strong commitment in our entire team at Eagle Transportation. I was a small piece of the puzzle. Our people enabled us to reach new heights every day.
While operating as Eagle Transportation, we were able to grow in terms of revenue from $0 to roughly $100 million. We specialized in the temperature controlled truckload segment. In January 2020, we were acquired by Nolan Transportation Group (NTG), one of the largest and fastest-growing non-asset brokers in the industry. With the acquisition, NTG was able to expand its capabilities in the cold chain segment. In addition to our refrigerated expertise, our team was able to bring a strong emphasis on service levels, audit capabilities, quality management, communication, and transparency. I served the combined entities as the Vice President of Refrigerated Truckload for two years. I had the privilege of helping NTG expand its capability in the refrigerated space by working with their 13 offices across the country.
I’ve had one rule for the past 17 years, to simply CARE.
Tom Cruise
It has been my long-standing desire to drive inspirational leadership while developing dynamic team members. I am bringing 17+ years of experience from the logistics world to the front line. I recognized a long time ago my great need for people. I believe our success comes from the strength and dependability of our team members. People are my passion. I’ve had one rule for the past 17 years, to simply CARE. When you genuinely care about the individuals in your organization, it becomes less about what you are doing and more about who you are doing it with. The people in your organization will take you far beyond what you are capable of individually as a leader. It’s a pretty simple formula to me, take care of the people and they will take care of the business.
